Activities

On Thursday, we offer two possible short excursions. Both will take place in parallel (you have to choose), roughly from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm after a Currywurst snack. Both excursions start from the conference site and end in Dortmund. More details can be found in the Survival Guide.

• Option 1: Visit of the Zollern colliery:

  There will be guided tours in English and German. The colliery is located in the outskirts of Dortmund, but participants will be transferred back by a bus.

• Option 2: Visit of the football stadium of Borussia Dortmund:

  This is the biggest football stadium in Germany and the second biggest in Europe. There will be a guided tours in English and German. The stadium is close to the centre of Dortmund. Participants can get back to downtown Dortmund by a short Metro ride.
